I have recently swicthed to chilipeppr I started out using easel. I like chilipeppr much better but I have trouble with files not loading and it is saying there isnt enough memory. I was told it would put it in the computers memory and run it from there. But for some reason it will not.
How big are your files? I find that over 5MB things get really sloooooow. I try to stay under 1MB. Can you reduce the detail? I find that if I make a larger tolerance in Fusion 360 I get longer line segments, which creates way less Gcode.
I see what you mean, I was trying to send code for some text, just a name in block lettering 3.5" x 12", very little detail. I wasnt sure of how many lines of code it was but I do believe it was bigger than 5MB. Although I am not sure why it would have been that large. I am still new and do not know how to change the tolerance. I was using JSCut.
JSCut is notorious for creating massively large Gcode. Everyone has had that problem. I use Fusion 360 now for almost all of my Gcode creation. It’s free for makers.
Maybe I should be using Fusion 360. By the way thank you for taking time to help me out.
