New X axis for my work in progress IDEX.
As Mike Kelly (could someone mention him I couldn’t for whatever reason) and @Ryan_Carlyle pointed out my extruder carriage was secured too far from the center of mass so I redesigned the carriage and modified the X axis ends. I still need a name for this beast of a printer.

The smooth idler was replaced with a toothed one to keep belt width consistent in the more compact carriage. Limit switch and belt attachment points were moved on the X axis ends. The carriages had to become wider so the right extruder was replaced with a mirrored Aero to save space and there’s actually an extra 16 mm of X build length even with the wider carriage. I had to move the Y endstop to the front of the printer to prevent the heads from smashing into the front Y rod. I’ll have to make minor changes to a couple areas of the rest of the build (nozzles are a bit further back so the build plate and Z axis will have to move back a bit, the extruder is mounted a 20 mm higher so the lead screw needs to be extended, and a few other minor changes). I’m still waiting on payment form my summer internship so I have some time to make all the changes, I’ll post my final build again once it’s done.
