I’m sorry, but why would you need this? If you need dry filament, you simply store it in a normal box and maybe add some silica. Personally, my filament (which is more than a year old) works just fine without any care in a washing room (high humidity). Also, ABS has a water absorption of only max. 2%. You stated 50% which is not even the case for PLA.

@Folke_Schwinning , there is at least a couple of niche cases where this would be nice. PVA (water-soluble) filament.

Moisture in nylon is also a pretty huge deal. I wouldn’t buy this one though. I’d rather build a sealed box for the spool and pay out from that.

the point is, if you are not printing every day, which nearly nobody does, you need to take off the filament to store it and reloading it every time you want to print, if you dont do it , it absorbe moisture and get dusty, dust can jam your nozzle and moisture as well. So with this dryer you dont need to reloading it every time, you just load it once and thats it, any you are sure that the filament will be allways in good shape.

I use this method to dry any filament that I have that has moisture in it (which surprising even if bagged can still get some in there. http://www.dbclunie.com/2014/03/3d-printing-drying-filament-for-15.html however just make sure you use a lower wattage than 100 like I first did
