No power from big mosfet Q6 after servo

Last night I was working on setting up a mini 5v servo for a z probe and all was going good. That was until it just randomly stopped working and I noticed that led for Q6 was dimly lit. Shut everything down reset everything and now I can’t get power to Q6. It’s for my heated bed and I can see the lcd says it’s on but no power or led. But I do still get a dim led for Q6 whenever I power on the servo. For the servo I have sig p2.5 power from z max and ground to the one just near to p2.5.

Should I have ran the servo from external power?

…… Just noticed that pin 2.5 was also assigned to that mosfet… Stupid me. Did I damage anything or is this just a conflict in the config?

How exactly was the servo wired ?

5v power from the 5v source at the z max endstop plug. Signal from p2.5 and ground from the ground pin next to p2. 7

Talking about the 2.5 pin, not the 2.5 mosfet output, right ?
A picture could help.

Cheers.

I tried but it keeps telling me guest and low karma users can’t post links.

I sent the picture in a pm

Would you mind trying the same thing with pin 1.31 ?

I can for testing to make sure the board still works but the thing is I have a Glcd. So a lot of the pins are already in use such as I believe

Ok got it all worked out and it was so simple I’m wondering how I didn’t notice it in the first place. I ended up going with pin 1.26 y min endstop. Just had to relocate the actual endstop to 1.27 then I had all three needed pins on one header. After fixing my config that somehow got corrupted with all kinds of weird stuff everything is not up and running. Thanks a lot for the help.

glad you got it to work
