I tried printing a rocketship…after looking at the support structure that was easily three times the volume of the print, I figured I’d download the RC3 version of 1.0…it picked up all the settings of the slic3r packaged with repetier and I thought that was pretty nifty…no changes to be made!
I imported the gcode into the printer buffer, heated the e3d, hit GO and the effector shot towards Texas (south of here)
How do I tell it ‘hey, the middle of the bed is here’, not over THERE?
Because I hadn’t gotten that far in the thought process. Eventually I’m moving to Octoprint, I didn’t see the need to stay in Repetier if I didn’t have to.
Fair enough :-). I have been using Repetier-Host as as basically a way to plate and slice and then save off the gcode job and send it to the printer (octoprint or SD card).
