[Not FastLed topic]
HI
I make Supernova Poi project.

Poi is working but i have problem with remote control
Problem is because i don’t use Adafruit IR Remote (Still waiting)
I have another IR remote control (name is 44 key )and have codes for this remote.
http://woodsgood.ca/projects/2015/02/13 … -ir-codes/
Library from PJRC is installed
When i change Codes in arduino supernova_poi sketch nothing happening
IR receiver and remote have communication tested with led diode
Do i need to change something in in IRremote library?
If its no solution to work with other IR remote i like to manual change the brightness (i need info how)

Teensy3.2
Apa102
TSOP34838
TRremote IR-44

Thanks

I’ve had very good luck with the TSOP34838. Was using Arduino Nano + 4 pin APA102C’s and FastLED. Had good luck with a few IR libraries.

On the other hand, WS2812’s don’t work with the IR on the Nano with FastLED because it disables interrupts.

Haven’t tried any of this on a Teensy.

I forget to mention, it’s Apa102 led strip. My first building is with fast led and poisoning image convertor. I have maximum space for 4 image with 72 pixels /200 slice

I’ve used this exact same remote with many projects on the Teensy 3.1 and 3.2. I usually use the TSOP38238. Is this the code you’re running on the Teensy? https://github.com/adafruit/Kinetic_POV/blob/master/supernova_poi/supernova_poi.ino Do you see anything in the serial monitor?

Have you tried the IRrecvDump example and checked the serial monitor? https://github.com/z3t0/Arduino-IRremote/blob/master/examples/IRrecvDump/IRrecvDump.ino

What speed are you compiling? I don’t think IR works with 72 MHz with Teensy.

Yep this is the code ,i can check later serial monitor.

I use default 96Mhz
