Not have a good time with Taluman Bridge.

Not have a good time with Taluman Bridge. It is a bit too thick measuring around 1.9mm. I’m also getting pretty poor adhesion. When printing a pipe shape, the inside perimeter is not sticking and making a shortcut. When I pull it off the bed, it all just falls apart.

I started printing at 245 C then to 248 C. What temp do you use for Bridge?

Hmm, tried various temperatures, layer height etc. I think the main problem is that it is just too thick and won’t go though the extruder cleanly.

I did dry it out just like I do with 618, but it is still too wide.

Maybe I received a bad batch. Does anyone else have Bridge that is 1.9mm wide?

I am getting ready to purchase some so the answer will be helpful

The stuff I got is about 1.85-88 and frankly prints fantastic.

I print at 250 with a glass bed heated to 60c then covered in a 75:25 mix of Elmer’s glue-all to water.

I have to peel it off the bed and can’t separate the layers if I try.

Also I’m running an e3d hot end and a Bowden extruder

I’m printing 3mm Taulman Bridge on a Mendel90 printer with E3D hotend at 345C 245C. My experience so far has been very positive. I’m using Elmer’s school glue thinned 5:1 with water on a glass bed heated to 110C. My filament measures 2.66mm in diameter, much smaller than most 3mm filaments.

Maybe the E3D hot end is the trick. Maybe I need to move from the Felix hot end.

@Robert_Wozniak what thermistor are you running to go up to 345? Or did you mean 245

@Joe_Spanier Oops… that was a typo. (corrected)
