Not the most demanding requirement of FastLED by any means, but I did use it! This was a belated Christmas gift to my 2.5yr old nephew. It’s my take on 1D pong, with a flare of my woodworking thrown in.
I’ve been curious for a while about light through wood, and it turns out you can see light through veneer! I love that it just looks like wood when off but comes to life just fine when on.
Making a second one for a friend soon and will definitely be making it wide enough to just run the wires along the strip on the top. Routing those channels on the bottom was the worst aspect of the project by far. I always learn something on the first try!
