Now using prerelease Flex3Drive #2in1Duo for production prints. Its the nice little touches. In this instance we are doing a simple colour change on our tensioner arms for these G3 Flex3Drive extruders. No retract, purge or waste block/tower and no priming. Simple straight forward gcode command to switch between one or other filament. Using our gcode post processor we simply instructed it to make two sharp unblended colour changes in the gcode equidistant based on print height.

Interestingly the unit in the centre, is using blue PETg and Black ABS. Not too shabby! What do you 3D folk think?

This uses two hotends correct? Does the PETG bond well with ABS?

The Flex3Drive #2in1Duo is a single dual filament mixing hotend  The bond between the materials is solid. Bear in mind this was a straight transition without gradient purely for a cosmetic effect. Some functional mixed material efforts following shortly (flexibles/rigids).

Got any details on the mixing block? Curious what you came up with.

@Ryan_Carlyle not at this point, but all in good time will be revealed.
