Now we need to fix layer adhesion but my hotend is not running hot enough apparently to get good adhesive

but got to love the strengt of poly… this Gopro quickrelease is ok in ABS but eventually breaks after multiple use. this does not even show Whitening when bending

How hot are you printing?

260 degree hotend and 100 bed. If i go higher than 270 degree I sometime have emergency shutdown because of overshoot

I printed a PC gear yesterday, 300/120. for bed used kapton and superglue on it. Printed with raft, infill - 1, concentric. I guess 270 should be suffisient, but you have to print very slowly

Yepp afraid of this. My hot end is not made for those temps… I will have to upgrade some time in the future :slight_smile:

But the paper and glue stick worked very good for warping

you need a 2 dollar resistor as a heating element, what else do you need to upgrade?

I think, a thermistor that you have there could measure temps around 300…?
