That’s super clean. I don’t understand why they mount the stupid heaters and thermistors sideways in the first place. It strains them

an where the thermistor goes?? for all i can see it still goes horizontal, not vertical like the cartridge on the photos.

@Griffin_Paquette the barrel would have to change considerably if you don’t want to zig-zag the wires in this situation. I use Volcano with a vertical heater cartridge and I don’t think wire strain is improved with vertical orientation, it seems worse.

I like the looks of this design though.

@Ashley_Webster what heatsink? This isn’t going on a E3D-one…

The heatsink can be biased towards the other side than the cables come up from the heater block, if a custom heatsink will be made…
