Nylon on Elmers Glue.

Nylon on Elmers Glue. I love elmers glue

Gotta make sure it’s the purple stuff, I found the white washable stuff doesn’t work as well.

^---- Yup. Love the purple. I never bother with tape any more.

Undiluted PVA, spread as thinly as possible with a brush works perfectly as well on glass and on the the Prusa i3’s matt PEI. 45C bed.

Why does disappearing purple work so much better than their other models?

@Adam_Steinmark well uhu magic works better than the other models. I dont know but it is that way

Never used UHU Magic before, I’ve had kits that came with regular UHU and I believe Elmer’s Disappearing Purple is better. I’ll have to try UHU Magic when I need to restock.

I just did a glass print bed conversion and now use the purple glue with my prints and my printer has never worked better!

How about buildtak? Ever tríed?

Buildtak works a bit better due to its micro-rough surface but I still used gluestick on top when I was using it.

UHU isnice also

@lightshadown@Adam_Steinmark buildtak… Yeah. After fucking 3 of them up by just trying new material… Also only phenol and gluestick really work with nylon. Wont stick on buildtak… And all other printsurfaces… M
