Oh boy, I’m so tempted to build an OpenRC Truggy myself, but the BoM costs almost the same as buying a HPI E-Firestorm. Am I doing something wrong?

That’s true… I just wished it’d be cheaper :-/ or at least not more expensive 
Are you interested only in driving it, or also in building and modifying (and fixing and redesigning)?
I’m interested in building and driving it. Maybe the way to go is to buy a HPI E-Firestorm, disassemble it and use the parts from it

Nice. These are way more expensive than I remember messing with as a kid, but I never used electric either…
