Oh Repetier Host, as much as I’ve enjoyed your software, your practices make me question my support. Particularly that I must donate for support on a CHANGE between versions so I’ll just ask it here. Is there anyway to change the extrusion reversal speeds in Windows? It seems to max out this speed with no indication of where/how to change it.

On that note, favorite alternates?

Would that be a Slic3r setting? If so, change it there.

No it would be in printer settings or something within RepHost.

@Ben_Van_Den_Broeck look in Slic3r: Printer Settings tab --> Extruder 1 --> Retraction box. There is a setting for speed. If this is not what you want, then perhaps a more detailed explanation of what you are trying to achieve would help.

I’m talking about reversal, not retraction. It’s a function in manual control tab in RepHost. It used to be a much slower speed in the earlier version and nylon cold pulls are nearly impossible now.

@Ben_Van_Den_Broeck Hmmm…maybe you could limit the max speed using g-code?

Curious. What repetier host version are you on? Are you trying to pull the filament out of the hotend at temperature? Single extruder? Trying to make sure I’m on the right track here. Know I messed with considerably at one time.

I’m on the newest Windows version. Pulling at 140C using M302 commands to allow cold extrusion.

what about Config -> Printer settings -> Printer tab -> Manual Retraction Speed ?

I don’t think donation is compulsory yet. I downloaded an update last night by skipping the donation page.

Yes you can skip it, its their support line that requires donation
