Ok guys. I got my davinci 1.0 printer and printed a few sample pieces and when i went to print again the temp for the extruder said 270c and the machine was room temperature… Now i get an overheat error when i turn it on amd it hasnt even heated up. So now i cant print. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad thermosistor, should message the company about a faulty hot end

The weird thing is that this happened after an update… It did it once before the update but constantly now… Sometimes it will print a few layers but then “overheats”

But i am positive it is not actually overheating

Broken wire or bad connector can do the same, but definitely in the path of the thermoresistor. I had the same on my reprap mendal from a wire flexing on my heated bed. It was Intermitent and ruined prints until it finally failed. I too thought it firmware, until I found the culprit.

Im calling the company tomorrow and they most likely will send a new print head hearing from others with this issue
