Ok I accidentally unplugged the USB that goes to my TinyG in my OX CNC table and now I don’t have COM3 anymore and can’t run my machine. My friend that helped me setup the machine initially has moved away and I’m desperate to get my machine working again. Please walk me though how to get my PC to recognize the TinyG as COM3 like before so I can get back to work. Thank you everyone!!!
Right now it pops up as unknown device when I plug it in
That doesn’t really seem to make sense. When you unplug TinyG and then plug it back in it shows up as same port. Only time I’ve seen it appear different is on G2 where it goes into programming mode.
Did you try plugging it into a different USB port? Serial USB can be twitchy about that.
Yeah there are two plugs on the back of the computer I’ve tried them both.

I’m trying upload cut and engraving files to my new laser engraver, that’s why I was messing with the PC and it got unplugged. I didn’t get anything running on my laser but I was looking at the COMs cause it doesn’t see it.
