Ok, I need help. I have an xyz da Vinci 3d printer. There is a loud screeching coming from the y-axis on the drive. I am wondering if the pulley has become lose or if the belt has loosened. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I’d make sure to find out if your printer has bushings or linear bearings before greasing, though. If it has linear bearings you’d want to use a PTFE based lubricant oil rather than a grease.

maybe try a lubricant on what ever is squeaking. I have to do that to my Rigidbot alot

I have the same problem… It is the plastic idler on the opposite side of the y axis motor. I’ve taken mine apart and found nothing wrong but it still screeches when lubed. Just they way it is… At least in mine
