Okay folks, I need your help. I’ve upgraded the X and Y axes on my PrintrBot Simple (thanks to @Tim_Sills and @Sonex128 ), and replaced the Ubis hot end with an E3D. I should note here that I removed and rerouted just about all of the electronics during this upgrade.
I reflashed the PrintrBoard firmware after changing the thermistor table to 5, per E3D. I can get all 3 axes to home using Repetier-Host, but I cannot use the jog controls to move them at all. I believe this is related to my thermistor problem:
With the extruder heat off, and at room temperature, the thermistor starts reading at about 124C, then inches up slowly (made it to 142 in about 10 minutes). Holding my hand on the heat block causes the reading to go down quickly (got it to about 117 in a minute).
Do I need to invert the reading in firmware someplace that I missed?
