One hook of the original holder of my coffee bean grinder was broken last year. Ever since, All coffee beans that I put in the machine were then ground into inconsistent sizes. After my team got an entry level 3D printer recently, I tried to create a 3d model and printed it out. After some refinement and removal of printed support, it works now.
did it work? where did you get the measurements for it?
probably just used calipers.

Right. A caliper is good enough to measure thee dimensions I need, then I recreated model in Solidworks.
