One more OpenR/C Truggy ready for electronics!
Great colours
That looks awesome!!! Nice job!!
Excellent job
what driveshafts did you use ?
@Jarek_Szczepanski 3dprinted in taulman3d’s tritan. But I also use Polycarbonate for the driveshafts…
damn… I meant CVD driveshafts
Oh, sorry! =) It’s the ones from http://www.conrad.com that been discussed before, I don’t have the link right now, sorry.
My mistake, sorry. I’m still fresh with this all RC terminology
I’ll try to find them on http://conrad.com but I’m pretty sure they are more expensive than chinese ones
Looks fantastic! Can you give us a breakdown on what materials you used? I’m guessing most of the white is a Nylon of some sort, and the blue is ABS. Is that correct? Did you print this on your new ZYYX?
It’s Nylon 645, ABS, NinjaFlex, PCTPE, Polycarbonate and Tritan. It’s printed on a 1st Gen Replicator and a 2X.
@Daniel_Noree Thanks! If you get the chance I would like to see a run down of what parts you are printing with what material. That should help newcomers like myself when they are debating on what material to use for certain parts. Also, do you prefer the Nylon 645 to the Bridge Nylon?
Hello Daniel, excellent built. I am tempted to build this myself just like ^^^ “Adam Thole” . I am gathering a list of parts that I will need to complete this Truggy but I am lost in this site on how to find what I am looking for. Any help will be appriciated, I need to gather what electronics are needed (if there is a specific ones), what receiver? what servo? what motor? what esc? any parts needed to assemble all printed parts? and has any new update been created on improving driveshaft, gear or anything like that, to make it more durable (update on STL file or by purchasing a specific part for durability)? Sorry for all question and hope to hear from you soon, thanks.
@XTREAM_ENTERTAINMENT You can find the answer to many of your questions here: http://openrcproject.com/tiki-index.php?page=Bill%20of%20Materials
Hello Adam, Thanks for the help, that was one beautiful list, couldn’t be better. Thanks
@Daniel_Noree Where do you buy your electronics etc, some links i’ve found are US only, do you have a list of links for us in the nordic C (I live in Stockholm) Love your work by the way, truly amazing! tummen upp!
@Daniel_Noree especially skrews and bearings etc
@Hampus_Liljedahl All my electronics are from Hobbyking, screws are from “Sifvert Skruv” in Västberga. Bearings are from “http://kullagergrossisten.se”
@Adam_Thole Taulman Nylon 645 is stronger than Bridge, and so i prefer 645.
Can you give more detailed measurements for the Reely parts so it easier to find alternatives. For example the CVD’s. Yes they say 118mm length at Conrad.com but what is the diameter of the hub and axle. Also what is the length of the hub by itself?
