One of the most annoying problems with The OpenRC TRuggy was that my source for the CVD driveshafts (Conrad.com) didn´t ship world wide. Maybe that changed some time back but i just recently noticed this. So for anyone looking for the Truggy CVD´s here they are:
I hear they’re expensive and difficult to source in some countries due to shipping. I’ve also seen a lot that the HSP 188015 drive shafts work a treat. I’ve got some ordered and will confirm this when they arrive.
@Nigel_Nichols Any luck with the HSP 188015 drive shafts? US resident who would like to give build a go, but without the CVD it is a bust. tnx
@Kevin_Wojcik The HSP 188015 drive shafts don’t fit, they’re about 2mm too long but the axle length is spot on. They do fit however if you modify some of the files. I’ve uploaded the files that I’ve used to thingiverse, I used some 1mm steel pins I had laying around to increase the strength also as I found that given the torque of the motor, it would split and break the output shafts with ease. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2021996
@Nigel_Nichols Thanks! Will give this a go.
