One of the new boards I got from @OSH_Park yesterday.

My Environment Monitor project is pretty much all soldered up. Unfortunately I ordered some JST XH connectors and tails from Aliexpress late last year and they have yet to arrive so will can’t properly finish the board.

I did tack some leads on and supplied power and I got 3.3v in all the right places  and the switches worked so it should be fine.

aren’t the mounting holes too close to the WiFi antenna? Better use plastic screws then.

Very nice, thanks for sharing! Hope you get the connectors soon.

@Petr_Stehlik It will be plastic. Probably just like a couple of small “pegs” which will be [3D] printed into the case somehow.

What made you choose to add all the flashing hardware to every board instead of keeping it in a separate one?

The last JST XH that I ordered from Ali were also horribly late.

@Richard_Vowles Because I could  Also I have no way of flashing the ESP without first soldering it to something… So why not solder it to the final board? It also means I can update it easily when I find bugs

Did you solder it by yourself? It looks very professionelle

@Stefan_Kruger Thank you! Yes I did hand solder it  With the help of my reading glasses, a very fine tipped soldering iron, very fine solder (<1mm dia) and a large magnifying glass on one of those “Helping Hands” small clamps.

good job, it looks great
