Two different printers:
- Printrbot Simple Makers Kit
- Printrbot Simple Metal Kit
Three ways of getting the assembly done:
- One guy picked up his “Simple Makers Kit” the week before. Then when the workshop started, he showed up with his assembled printer. He just needed to get the machine working and calibrated.
- The two “Simple Metal” were put together within five hours.
- The “Simple Maker” with its laser cut wooden parts took definitely longer to assemble. The guy, a retired engineer and model maker, did his job very carefully. It took him almost eight hours but at the end, the printer worked like a charm.
Four new printers in the wild:
Now all the printers are alive and two of them will be in school.
