Oops. Did it twice. New open gcode file seems to lock up Chilipeppr if the idiot user forgets (I blame Chiipeppr for my D&D habit) and drag n drops from the dialog rather than selecting it through the file window.
I’m not sure what you mean?
@jlauer , had to try it again to make sure. This time I select “Open Gcode File” and navigate to the gcode file, then drag it to the Chilipeppr window, and this time I ALSO hit the open button and it locked up. It’s a stupid user error but thought it might be an easy fix for some other poor idiot.
@Steve_Anken you use one or the other method. Dialog windows (such as the file chooser) stop JavaScript execution while they are waiting. So what is happening, is that you are opening the file chooser, but not selecting your file using it. The file chooser was added so that people who can’t drag and drop can select files, but if you plan on dragging and dropping, just do it like you used to, you don’t need to choose the file picker. Maybe we should rename “Open File…” to “File Chooser Dialog” to avoid confusion.
No biggie, just a silly user error but locking up is never a good thing.
