In your terms of use :
You are granting us with a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your Content in connection with the Service. You retain copyright over the Content.

Why should it be permanent, irrevocable and unlimited ?
Is it really in the open hardware spirit ?
Shouldn t the use be directly linked to the license of the content published on your service, choosen by the user (cc, copyright…) ?

Hello Frédéric,
We apologize the site is new and the terms have not been updated and are the default  It should be said that OpenBuilds is a portal where builders can share their ideas. All builds rights belong to the builder not Openbuilds and the updated terms will show this.
Thanks for the reminder to take care of this

Thanks Mark for your answer
Happy to see the open spirit in your project :-).
I really like this idea of applying gamification to this context.
Did you follow Kevin Werbach mooc or course ?
I wish you the best.
Regards

Too be honest I did not know about gamification until just now, pretty cool that I (not knowingly) applied it out of just wanting to make a fun sharing site for our projects does that make it more genuine? I thank you because Kevin’s course sounds great and I would like to learn more about it and perhaps apply some of strategies to help grow the site. Penn is not far from us so I will look more into this although I think the course is online as well. Thanks again

I took this course last year. Pr Werbach is awesome :-).
I really recommend it.
If your interested in some open brainstorming around your gamified system feel free to ask

Thank you! I look forward to taking this course and brainstorming with you about it. I am sure I will have lots of ideas and questions and appreciate the offer.

You’re welcome.
