The BRL-CAD project leader also offered the FreeCAD developers to participate to the GSOC under the BRL-CAD umbrella, unfortunately none of the FreeCAD devs had time to mentor.

He came off as a really nice and classy guy.

Actually the application specifically mentions OpenSCAD, LibreCAD and STEPcode.
