oh my god it’s beautiful!

This is really turning out nice guys well done!

One thing to make it better is travel direction when choosing between climb and conventional cutting with an arrow showing the travel at the start and end of the travel

It may be more useful to somehow guide users which cutting direction to use. Since I doubt LW will be used with rigid zero-backlash machines with tight spindle speed control, it’s best to recommend conventional cutting for non-finish passes.

how do i use this? my outlay doesnt look anything like this. I just finished building my shapeoko 2 and needed opensource software and used laserweb3 and then to my surprise i can use same software by enabling cncweb mode for milling…decided when i make some money from my cnc i’ll donate the proceeds from the first job to the creator since the software is so useful.

Ok cool. Maybe in wrong section but you really should add a threshold feature to adjust the trace to vector feature. As I said earlier I just started and finsihed creating a 2m x 2m shapeoko 2 and will be doing commercial work on it…first real proceeds will be donated to you…and if business is better than expected I’ll official sponsor the development of the software.

True. It’s just with that small added feature you could really skip Inkscape for simple raster to vector traces. I did my first raster image and it turned out great… thanks so much for the software
