Ordered an extruder from AliExpress and it hasn’t arrived in 1.5 months… I opened a dispute and they said that the airport was backed up and wouldn’t give me a refund. Hasn’t moved since 11/30 the dispute was dismissed and I can’t do anything… Starting to think I’m never getting it

You are not alone. I purchased several things from China and the shipping time is horrible for some. I ordered a gt2 belt Nov 24 2016 and just got it today January 17 2017. I have another that still hasn’t arrived with the same order date. And others with more recent order dates that have already arrived.

Yeahhh, 6 to 8 weeks is the norm.
and during Chinese New Years, add another 10 days.

If it don’t come by DHL Express I try not to order any more from China… But the prices are sooo nice sometimes

Chinese New Year - wait longer. Like others have said, 6 to 10 weeks not unheard of.

If you paid with credit card just dispute it with the company

That’s surprising to me. Every time I’ve opened a dispute over late products, they’ve been easily refunded. And after placing another order, the original showed up at my door. 2 for the price of 1.

@Justin_MacIsaac - I’ve had the same experience several times.

AliExpress are a joke, never again. Better to find a good local supplier and support your own countries manufacturing.

My most recent experience was especially bizarre, Got the shipping notice and link which implied the package was going by ship to dock in Vancouver, Canada for receipt from china, time passed (way beyond a reasonable interval) then my package came by mail with a china post label.
wtf !

@Gavin_Webster agreed. Sometimes the money saved going to ali isn’t worth the headache anyways.

@Gavin_Webster you are joking right? i order parts for 0.8$ with free shipping that costs 8$+shipping locally, and usually in quantitys of 10+.

10x 0.8 = 8$
10x 8 +12$ shipping= 92$

if you order anything from china, be glad if it arrives within 60days, be suspicious if it have not showed up within 90days.

have bought stuff from china through ebay/aliexpress/alibaba almost every week for years. have only on a few times had to ask for replacement parts or a new shippment.

Here in Canada, things from China are backed up in Customs for 38 days on average, at the moment.
