Oh yeah, that was the one with the somwhat DRM’d filament reels.
Not all filaments are good quality, and some might not only give you poor print results but damage Robox - we can’t take responsibility for poor quality filament causing damage.
So basically, you’re voiding your warranty if you’re not using their filament.
The best printing results will be achieved using Robox official materials
So are they degrading print quality for non-OEM filament on purpose?
For each material we will be developing a unique ‘print profile’ which will guarantee great prints every time, with no user input required much like adding a new ink cartridge to an inkjet printer.
That’s the one good thing about it - exactly what UFID is providing, but probably using a proprietary and incompatible standard.
