So… I bought the bowden hot end that I wanted. This is to replace my broken direct drive extruder that is on my 3D printer. I realized that it’s shipping from China. Oy I can’t wait that long. I guess I got to whip up a mount for my J-head hot end.

It ain’t pretty. I heated up some 1/4" aluminum in a vice and bent it into an L shape. In my mill, I drilled two holes going down the one leg of the L. These are for #8 machine screws. I then rotated it and drilled a hole that is slightly smaller than the neck of the j-head. With a bandsaw, I cut the tip of the L, down the center of the big hole. This made a two piece clamp. I then tapped the two holes I made first and drilled 3 holes on the other leg of the L.
