Looks awesome!
Asking the important questions: Does your head fit inside?
How much does that printer go for
Very impressive.
What is the purpose of this object ?
Why 3D print it ?
@Kent_Morrison I believe some people refer to it as “fun”.
@Ryan_Iffert ╮(╯▽╰)╭
Sliced with Simplify 3D?
Maybe @Andrew_Bougie can answer these questions
Glad you like the print, guys!
@Keith_Applegarth Thanks! I’m very happy with it.
@Rene_Jurack It does not.
Doesn’t fit my my boys heads either. I scaled thing # 360747 on Thingiverse to 90% because I didn’t have any filament rolls larger than 1kg. This used about 900g. Will probably purchase a 5KG roll at some point and print a different helmet full size.
@DarthAmerind The Airwolf AXIOM is $4k.
@Kent_Morrison We have an upcoming local STEM festival and I will be running a printing/scanning booth for my company. I needed some larger and kid friendly examples of 3D prints. Ironman seemed like a good choice. Also, because it was a “fun” print as @Ryan_Iffert mentioned.
@CkTBrD This was sliced in Cura. I do use Simplify 3D with my Printrbots and love it, but haven’t had a chance to setup for the AXIOM yet.
@Thomas_Sanladerer Thanks for pointing out these questions with a mention! Didn’t get a share notification for some reason.
