This is exactly what irks me about “openwashing”. I think companies like B9 Creations like to give the impression of being Open Source and supporting the maker community, but in fact only their software is open source. Their hardware is definitely not open source. They still list it under “Open Source Project Files”, which in my opinion is clearly misleading. http://b9creator.com/source-files/

It seems for the purposes of fund raising, companies are open source. When they have got your money, it turns into closed source.
