Not sure whether this is a FABkit, Smoothie or LaserWeb4 issue…
I have this fairly simple project, and previous larger versions cut fine, but this one stops when it goes from the ‘inner cut’ (the 2 ovals and the lines for the live hinge) to the ‘outer cut’ (the rounded corner rectangle around it all) activity…
The laser just stops moving, but the compressor for air assist remains on.
No errors in the LW4 window either!
So it doesn’t reach the end (or the head would move home, and the compressor would cut out), it just stops processing the gcode, apparently!
@CescoAiel this is very strange. The only thing I can think off is the arc being very small segments somehow and that could be trouble. Can you try only to process one of the corner?
For reference there is an option called Segment in LW. Default is 0 but If you go to 5 it will make it easy work.
Btw this has happened to me and that has fixed the problem
My wife changed the color of the line in Inkscape (it was black, when the other cutlines were red) and redid the project, and it worked… So not sure whether it was the SVG (unlikely) or something corrupted in the workspace that got fixed by effectively strating over…
