@David_Clunie What is the thickness of your glass plate?
I’ve been using a light spray (barely visible) of Tresseme (extra firm) with good success as long as the contact area of the print is adequate (i.e. no tall thin towers without skirts). When I spray, I have a cardboard shield to protect the printer mechanisms from overspray.
I usually run the hpb now around 80-90 with the upgraded aluminum printbed I got there is no need to run it any higher really.
