Created a 3D printed wave lamp with FastLED on WS2812 LEDs and an ESP8266. Right now it’s simply running the fire palette sketch with party colours as the palette.

Final intent is to create a world mood lamp using the wefeel service API.

STLs:

Great one! I have made three of these too.

Beautiful!

Looks amazing man!

Thats really nice, would love to see it with a fire effect glow.

The wave lamp was printed on its side. 0.8mm nozzle, 0.24mm layer height, 2 perimeters, 2 top and bottom layers. 0% infill. White PLA.
Took about 30 hours.
If I were to do it again, I would probably use 30% infill as there were some areas in the centre that did not come out correctly.

The LED base was printed in wood PLA, 0.8mm nozzle, 0.32mm layer height, 2 perimeters, 2 top and bottom layers. 30% infill. Took about 5 hours.
I would probably increase the #top layers or infill if I print again - there were some holes in the top, mainly because the wood PLA refuses to bridge. I would probably use Normal PLA next time around. Also in the base I made a hole for the electronics - which came out extremely bad because of the wood PLA not bridging at all.

But on the whole, pretty happy with this.

@David_Selwood will post some videos.

Me likey.

@Dushyant_Ahuja Oohh… going to look out for that thanks.
