WiFi LED controller based on ESP8266 with the following features:

  1. Level converter with 4 outputs for 4 WS2812 LED strips
  2. MOSFETs for running one 12V RGB LED Strip
  3. MOSFET for running one 12V White LED strip
  4. Onboard power converters for 5V and 3.3V

Board designed by me. Had a set of 10 boards fabricated by SEEED Studio.

Looks like some top quality work. Any key things you learned along the way?

@marmil thanks a lot. This is my first PCB. Learnt how to use KiCAD while building the PCB. It’s much easier than EagleCAD.
After I soldered the components I realised that I could have repositioned the MOSFETs so that they faced outside and could have heatsinks added if required. Also, the Dupont connectors I have could be placed on the edge to make wiring easier.
Nevertheless, am happy with the result and proud of my first PCB.

Awesome…Any demo?

@arpan_choudhury have a project I’m working on. Will post once it’s done
