I got one question to your XATC project. Does the process contain a tool length measurement or something like that?
Very cool project. if i had a little more free space in my milling area i would think about implementing a version for my mill.

@Edmar I’ll add a tool length sensor, but it’s just a switch screwed on my CNC table on a specific position, coming soon.

Switches bounce… when milling PCBs you only mill e.g. 0.05 mm deep. So the tool length sensor should be very accurate. Have you thought about the switch yet? Maybe some kind of optical sensor or with electric contact or something?

Sure, i use a touchprobe at the pcb surface in normal case.
