@Frank_Herrmann yes the “whiteish” pieces are Ikea cutting board ( actually some sort of nylon/delrin ) easy to machine and work with and strong enough annnd really cheap to rapidly try and prototype also ( around 1.3euro / board )

Good choice on the table design. My torsion box table is so flat it might as well have been milled from a solid piece of aluminum.
