In case anybody is interested in hearing a little bit more about @Thomas_Sanladerer I (attempted) to do a legit interview with him about his thoughts on the #euromold2014 expo in Frankfurt, Germany a few (quite a few…) weeks back and have finally found +20 minutes to upload and post it!

We talked about how Thomas got into 3D Printing, the Pilgrim Printer (@BQ111 / @Nils_Hitze / @Mathias_Dietz ) and what’s next for Mr. Sanladerer (I was able to give ONE good attempt in here!).

Few things you should note:

  • my laugh is annoying
  • we are driving for a good portion of it
  • I may have already had a beer before we started (don’t remember…)
  • it ends abruptly… I will repost if I can track down the final seconds… really sorry about that!!!

I wanted to do a whole bunch of interviews but we ended up just geeking out the whole time at the expo and I wanted to let everybody enjoy the time together instead of probing them with questions… but we have the internet so I know where to find them: @foosel @Henrik_Peiss @Mathias_Dietz @Matthias_Lewen-Riege @Florian_Horsch_flouS @Gabriela_Nicolae @Filemon_Schoffer !

It was really a lot of fun doing this and I plan on doing them more often with more people making a difference in the community… If you’ve got some suggestions, send them over.

Well… hope you enjoy!
Jason

Man, everything has changed…NOT!

Glad to hear this “interview”. I like the format.

Great hearing a casual, honest interview. It’s funny that videos and g+ posts sort of introduce you to personalities, but they don’t really do a person justice. I am always pleasantly surprised when listening to an interview or meeting people in person. Thomas isn’t just a RepRap video making machine, turns out he’s a person with a life and everything! Nice to virtually hang out with him for a few minutes.
