Luis ( @3DigitalCooks ) and I took a trip down to San Diego when we were on our 3DFP Roadtrip in November for a private viewing of the #PancakeBot by @Miguel_Valenzuela .
It was totally awesome and we thank Miguel and his family for allowing us over for this.
If you weren’t aware, http://www.pancakebot.com/ is now up and it looks like it’s going to be a fun community to be a part of.
There’s a vid and a gallery of some pics in the post as well, you know if that sort of stuff gets you excited like us!
More to come on the 3DFP Roadtrip on 3DIGITALCOOKS.com coming soon!!!
(please excuse me looking like a zombie… was still suffering a tad from time-change-syndrom and was in the middle of a 15 hr drive)
Thx @Mike_Miller Was a lot of fun. We’ve got a backlog of content I need to get up on the site from the trip still also: Autodesk Pier 9, San Francisco Burger review, Culinary Lab, Camaro, etc…
Do they have any time/temp compensation? I’m thinking they could make a “multicolor” print by laying down some batter, then letting it brown before continuing the print.
Yup, that’s exactly how it works to get the layered/colored effect. The software is pretty fun to play with also, you can get it at the site already and see how it works, but you choose the different colors to make the different effects and it works well.
