Just finished designing and printing the Electronic module. PDB and FCU sandwich together. DYS 16 or 20 amp ESC’s snap into printed brackets. All I have to do now is design the bracket for the 200mw video transmitter and Fry sky transmitter. The whole assembly can be removed with 2 screws.

Wait till you see the TILT http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:946052

Loving your work @John_Car . That’s gonna be a real neat build. I soooo want to print my own Vortex and RcExplorer inspired Tri frames but my first printer is a TinyBoy so 8x8x8cm is my limit :frowning: Guess I’m stuck with printing small components until I graduate to a bigger printer.

I have a printrbot metal simple with a heated bed and I had to split the lower frame in half in order to print, then use ABS slurry to bond it back together.

I’d never have guessed … I can’t see the join!

You can go on thingverse and download the files. Tuffest part is getting all the electronics to fit. I might scale this quad bigger to fit a eagle tree vector FCU in the future.

Yes, I noticed the Thingiverse files a few days ago. As you say, it’s a tight fit without the custom ImmersionRC components, so scaling to a 310/330mm size would help. Think I’ll finish my Armattan Tilt-R first … it’s like a bulletproof Vortex on 6-7" props anyway
