Just added the 3D Model of iteration 2 CNC Router (49.5"x30"x4.5"), which is what I am building, to the album.
I have also got a rough draft of the BOM put together and will validate it as the build continues.
I see you have your table mounted on wheels. Make sure you use quality wheels with stoppers. I wanted to have my table mobile but it was not a good idea. The gantry moves so does the table… At last I gave up and made another rigged table without wheels =)
It will… I left spaces between the wheels and the leg to add a plate which will have a stopper mounted to it.
We use leveling casters that have foot that drops down to get off wheel and level machine. http://www.casterdepot.com/casters/leveling-casters
Looks like C-beam. very nice. I’m thinking about adding some of that to my OX.
It tis. C-beam for the y-axis and z-axis. The stuff is awesome! I used the SMW3D R7 as inspiration for this design.
