This is a quick put together of the final version of the side plate that will allow it a person to build a @OpenBuilds_LLC c-beam y-axis or a linear rail and 3090 y-axis. I am going to name this machine the “River City Labs Evolution” or “RCL Evo”. This machine will not be versioned with the idea that it will always be an evolving CNC Router/Machine. Everything that I am designing will be totally open sourced when I am done, 3D Models CAD drawings, and BOMs made available. This design is scalable as small as 300mm x 300mm and as large as 1250mm x 1250mm with a couple part changes. If someone wants to build this machine the c-beam allows a person to build the machine with a good number of stock parts from @OpenBuilds_LLC and / or @SMW3D . I am having a ton of fun with this project and want to share my fun with the Open Source CNC world! Happy Making!

Nice, I’m using c beam for all axis. Hoping openbuilds gets my order out this week

Anybody need to order aluminum extrusion, welcome to have a look at http://www.makeralot.com/aluminum-extrusion-c20/
