In general I hate it when people add music to this kind of video’s, but I make an exception for this one.

This is awesome! What’s the average duty cycle for standalone printing? e.g. Clean off the print bed once every day or so?

@Chris_Bero Are you asking what is the length of a print with a filled bed? No idea. Could be days or hours.

@Nicholas_Seward Cool, yeah that makes sense that it’d depend on what you’re printing.
How does the printer place items on the bed? Are they all arranged to be spread out in gcode ahead of time, or done on the fly by the printer’s controller?

@Chris_Bero I just moved the about in Cura

@Nicholas_Seward Cool, thanks!

I think a very nice idea would be a firmware feature to add a theta offset to your print. Then, you could run the same gcode with different theta offsets to do multiple prints.

I can certainly do that right now. Smoothie ware allows you to call prints from in a print and I allow for setting machine coordinates

@Eric_Pavey I have been scratching my head to figure out your comment. I have to ask what you mean. :slight_smile:

@Nicholas_Seward : Oh, the print in the pic, it looks like a big n. Or u I suppose depending on the angle: That would have made a lot more sense I supposed :stuck_out_tongue:
