10 hours in and just over half complete - printing much more slowly than I thought it would, and now it’s time to hit the sack. Terrified it’s going to jam up - will probably end up getting up to check on it through the night.

Good luck! I am sometimes grateful for having noisy stepper motors. Even though I can’t see if the result is right, I at least know it Sounds like the printer is working ok…all the way from bed.

I printed this out as well. Took me over 2 days to get it all done. worked really well though.
Also, the legs are the weakest part. Found that out the hard way.

@Mano_Biletsky_Open_M Yeah, I think my next project is gonna be an Octoprint on Raspberry Pi, with web cam.

@Ben_Jackson Well, mine finished intact and pretty clean overall. Couple of minor burrs needing some trimming, but really pretty good. Now to start on the rest of the screw mechanism!

@Patrick_Ryan Excellent, keep up the good work.

I have just got myself some Bakelite for my Taulman 618. I have some 618 drying in the oven now then we shall see if it really does stick.
