I just stumbled upon https://easyeda.com - a browser based PCB-design tool, that does it all. Think of github mixed with eagle and finished with a pcb-manufacturer. Oh, and a VERY PRETTY project overview, that generates a beautifull page with an overview of a project to display schematics, layout, a render, BOM etc pp. I tried it for half an hour from start to finish and was very pleased, so I want to share!

very good find.

Thanks for sharing

Remember using this a while back! Was excellent!

GreatScott! – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6mIxFTvXkWQVEHPsEdflzQ – uses this on quite a few of his videos. I’m sure you’ve seen his stuff. I believe there is even a tutorial out there for going from design to manufacture using their service.

I have used it a a few projects and like it. Easy to use and makes ordering boards simple (and cheap).

Another alternative for a browser based pcb- design tool would be upverter, which was recently acquired by altium. From an open source perspective kicad would probably be the tool of choice.
