Remember my fast heated bed? ( 1min to 110°C -> https://youtu.be/NzeJseW9LTs )
Now I have a fast hotend, too (50sec to 245°C, 1min to 260°C)!
So, both are ready to print in just a minute. What a good team :smiley:

Holy mother of feck. Both Mains driven, I’m taking it?

Nope. Both with 24V. Mains on a hotend is like bicycling on the Autobahn. All fun and laugh till something goes wrong :smiley:

Well aye, still there has to someone out there that’s doing it xD So it’s low resistance heaters at 24v.

I switched to 24v recently - most significant improvement I ever made (though I did have to apply the DECAY patch wire hack on my DRV8825s to keep my printer from sounding like a rock tumbler)
