Very cool, any idea how this would work using the 5v high signal? Say using an end stop pin… And firmware changes?

In general, you could just configure a Pin input on your board to one of the main functions like “pause” or “cancel” or even “reset”. The firmware of your printer of course needs to be adjusted accordingly.
