A quick video showing the progress of my CNC milling machine. The base is almost finished, with the legs now done. Not much left before its sent away to be skimmed which hopefully should be very soon.

Enjoying seeing the progress. About how much does that currently weigh?
@marmil Thank you! The base alone takes two to lift and that’s struggling, would estimate around 170 kg the legs are around 15kg a piece and then the gantry is around 20kg so far. Unfortunately this is just guess work for the moment as I’m not sure the scales I have will take the weight. However I’m seriously temped to try! So far all those weights are without any electronics, motor mounts, rails, blocks and ball screws. I’ve added lifting points on the base because I knew this thing was going to be heavy. Still haven’t quite worked out how to get it into the car!
