Scan, mill and 3D print in one? We wouldn’t mind! Would you?

I would very much mind, yes. Especially when I am presented with a mill that has no ventilation or dust management. A 3D printer full of dust and wood chips… Mmmmm… no thanks.
I’m not convinced it will work well enough with or without dust-management. Either it one or the other - I can’t believe it can do both effectively.
Looks small, kinda neat idea though. I could see making a head with a extruder on one side and a mill on the other. would need a lense cap for the scanner cameras and lasers.
would be cool to extrude a few layers, mill some fine details, repeat for high fidelity 3d models. this was something i started investigating a few months ago. hopefully, im not the only person who has wanted to try this out.
